Among that number: all 700-plus Federal courthouses in the United States. Federal courthouses are found in every state and territory of the United States.

They are protected by the U.S. Marshals Service, which is the most experienced Federal law enforcement agency in the country.

The Marshals do receive a little help. For the third time in a row, they awarded the 5-year electronic security contract for the courthouses to Tyco Fire & Security.

Tyco Fire & Security supplies, installs, services and maintains integrated security systems in every Federal courthouse, nationwide. Each courthouse has a complex, highly integrated security system that connects with the United States Attorney's Office, the General Services Administration and Federal Protective Services. For more than 10 years, we've made sure the system works as intended – helping the Marshals keep all sites and personnel safe and secure.

Living up to a contract of such size and scope calls for an extensive national service infrastructure, along with broad capabilities in the application of many different security technologies. Our unique qualifications have led the U.S. Marshals to call on us once again, when it counts.
