At Tyco Fire & Security, we are committed to quality in everything we do. For many years to come, these operational excellence programs will generate savings to fuel organic growth opportunities as well as to enhance our bottom line results.  

Examples of our commitment:

  • We have a rigorous quality training initiative where professionals from all disciplines are trained as quality and process improvement experts. Since 2003, we have trained more than 1,700 Master Black Belts and Green Belts globally that have helped their respective business units realize significant cost savings and process efficiencies.
  • In 2005, more than 450 projects in Design for Six Sigma business simplification and process improvements generated in excess of $100 million dollars in savings.
  • Despite fierce challenges from cost increase to commodities like fuel and steel, our Strategic Sourcing initiatives were able to deliver a net savings of more than $70 million dollars in 2005.
